Royal Enfield has launched the limited edition Bullet Classic Chrome.
As its name suggests, there’s plenty of bright work, and the mudguards, fuel tank and air box covers have all been chrome-plated. By contrast, the front fork shrouds, tool boxes and headlight nacelle are painted either black or dark maroon, with some elegant gold pin-striping as a finishing touch. The seat is upholstered in brown leatherette, and a matching pillion pad is available as an accessory.
Like the rest of the Bullet line-up, power comes from a modern single-cylinder, fuel-injected 499 cc engine that produces 27 bhp (20 kW / 28 PS) and 41 Nm (30 lb/ft) of torque. Although the bike features an electric start, it also comes equipped with a kick starter that will appeal to those seeking an authentic retro experience.
The UK on the road price for the Bullet Classic Chrome has been set at £5,295, which is £300 more than the standard Bullet Classic. However, it seems that only the maroon colour scheme is being offered here.
